Eric is the owner of Modern Media Perspectives, a Durham-based media consulting firm.  He is the creator and publisher of the Common Sense Mentors series which is a collection of help and advice books that provide local professionals the chance to become published authors. Eric is a graduate of Ryerson’s Radio and Television Arts program (1991) and has worked at several Toronto radio stations.  Eric writes a humour column called “Eric’s Perspectives” and is the creator of  “The Novak Report” small business feature which airs daily on Channel 12 CHEX TV Durham. He is a Public Relations guru, voice talent, author, marketing and communications expert as well as a strong community advocate.  He has delivered Keynote presentations across Ontario and Canada on subjects related to his expertise. Eric see’s Great Professional Stories as a fantastic medium for successful businesses with great stories to tell and is very excited about being a part of the GPS team!
Ben Stacey owns and runs Hilltop Film Studios which is a producer of independent film and television. Hilltop Film Studios produced the entertainment magazine show, "In Studio" as well as the pilot season of "Great Professional Stories". Ben studied film and video production at York University then went on to work on a number of independent films. After being sidetracked with other businesses for a few years, Ben returned to the business he loved. Ben has done everything from freelance camera work and editing on corporate videos to writing and directing a short film to producing and directing television programs. He brings his talents to the Great Professional Stories team.
John got his start in the film and video industry working on feature films in the art department. He made his first feature film "Crossover", which sold worldwide, then moved into the animation field, working in 2D at Nelvana's digital ink and paint department. John worked as a storyboard artist and 2D animator for VCR Active Media where he also directed several corporate videos. From that experience, he then helped form Left of Centre Productions specializing in scoreboard animations, high end corporate and commercial video. John then formed his latest company, Mokeamedia, which in partnership with Hilltop Film Studios co-produced the tv shows "In Studio" and "Great Professional Stories". John's experience in TV, corporate video, commercials, 2d and 3D animation and feature films has given him a wealth of media experience.
